Delete Your Account

Request to permanently delete your Blurr account and erase associated data.

Important: This action cannot be undone

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your messages, posts, comments, likes, and profile settings from Blurr. This process is irreversible.

How to Delete Your Account

Follow these simple steps within the Blurr mobile application to request immediate account deletion:

Open the Blurr App

Launch the Blurr app on your Android or iOS device.

Navigate to Settings

Tap on your profile tab in the navigation bar, and select Settings.

Find Account Deletion

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings list and select Delete Account.

Confirm and Submit

Review the notice, complete any security confirmation steps, and submit the deletion request.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account is processed for deletion, the following items will be permanently erased:

✕ Profile & Login Info

Google login credentials, avatar image, unique user tag, email address, and bios are completely deleted.

✕ Activity & Content

All of your posts, comment threads, direct chats, anonymous received cards, and active links are deleted.

Data Retention Notes

Content posted on other users' threads (like comments) will remain in place to preserve conversation flow but will be completely anonymized (marked as "Anonymous User" with profile attributes erased). Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days.

Processing Duration

Your login will be blocked immediately upon submission. Most personal info is deleted within 7 days, and full purge (including storage nodes) finishes within 30 days.
